Lesson Learned

You can learn a lot by going to class ... You can learn that your hip will all but separate from the rest of your body when you get it crushed by grappling Sbn Dan. Thank you Sbn for not killing me, grappling is not my strong point. You can also learn how to help your hip flexors (or however you spell it) by talking to Cyrus about different stretching exercises that you can so this is less likely to happen to you again. Thank you, Cyrus. You can learn how to keep your guard up so you don't end up with a black eye or a broken nose. Luckily I just learned the black eye part. ... yeah, that was fun... Thank you Mr Lower Level Belt who felt bad when it was my fault for not keeping my guard up... Then there's extra credit: Running on your own and to keep going until you're sure you're just going to drop, but you don't, so you keep running, and then you run just a little bit more. Thank you, Brandy for teaching us endurance. You can learn why good is not good enough and that only your best is... for you and your team... Thank you, Kjn Jeremy. My point is, everyone has learned one valuable skill or another from someone else within the walls of Aim High... Thank you! :)

  1. Great job in keeping a positive mental attitude even when things are tough. Sometimes I even have a hard time doing that. Keep up the great work!
