DREAM

I think that I finally have decided on an affirmation. I think I want it to say,

dream

Is the Japanese symbol for dream. See, I was at my cousin’s house and she had gotten this big book of tattoos. She said we could look through the book and pick one or two. I found a page with a few different kanji’s on it. There was one for love, beautiful, happiness, dream, etc. They were all beautiful, but for some reason I fell in love with the one that said dream. I found a cute flower that matched it and put them on my calf. I showed them to my mom when she came to pick me up and she thought it was pretty too. “Oh my gosh!” she said “what if you put that on your belt as your affirmation!” I loved that idea. “Can they put symbols on belts?” I asked. “Of course” she replied. And that was it.

I think dream is a good affirmation for me because I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t dream. I wouldn’t be a black belt, I wouldn’t have sang in front of my whole school, I wouldn’t have made lots of the things I’ve made. I wouldn’t be able to do things that people never thought possible.
