Getting Into the Groove

Well, I'm definitely learning the importance of pacing yourself. I crashed yesterday after swimming. Felt fine after swimming, making breakfast, cleaning house, and all that fun stuff. But then my body just went on stand-by and I took a 2 and a half hr nap. Adam & I took a 9 mile bike ride to Barnes & Noble and back on Saturday. I agreed to it because I stopped by Aim High and everyone had all these plans to exercise the afternoon away... not sure if it was inspiration or guilt, but I figured the bike ride might be fun. Plus Adam wanted a spy kit they had on sale (worth 9 miles, in the eyes of a 10-yr old).

Anyhow, my point is that I found out that your body likes to exercise, but it's definitely going to tell you if it's had enough (whether you like it or not), so listen to it. Right now, I have to go to work, when what I really want is a very long nap. I made sure to go to sleep on time so I could be well rested, but another nap would be most awesome... Looking forward to class tonight, sweating a bunch, and being with my BB training group. :)
