My first blog! / My dad's dream!

   Well I finally am able to post all of my blogs! As SBN knows my dad gave up his dream job that he has been working for for the past four years(to become a firefighter). It really upset me that he went all that way and said no. But through out this journey my father has taught me many lessons. My father was told several times that no one would hire him because of his age and what not, but he never gave up even when people were telling him no. In the end he got job offers for some of the states best fire departments. First lessen....NEVER GIVE UP even when people tell you no! The reason why my dad gave up his job in the first place was that we couldn't afford to live with no pay for about a year and I even offered all of my money to him(390 dollars) just so he could accept the job. Well this goes into my second lesson.... DON'T PUT YOUR DREAMS FIRST AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS! If my dad did take the fire job I wouldn't be able to keep doing karate and my mom wouldn't have enough money to advertise her new books! This blog is for my dad for never giving up his dream and never giving up on his family!
