Crutches: the yield sign
I found out today that I just sprained my ankle, but I have to wear a big, heavy boot and walk with crutches for a week. Th boot I have to keep on for longer. It feels like I can't do anything and I'm so confined to certain places. Push-ups and sit-ups are much more difficult and I can't do cardio minutes. This is frustrating because it was fractured last year in the same spot and it probably never healed and is weaker because of it. Hopefully it'll be strong enough to be back into training by February 20. Until then, keep training hard guys!!

OMG! Well you're always hurting yourself! Be careful or I will hunt you down and drag you back to training!:0 Well get better :)
ReplyDeleteHope the third sentence didn't scare you :( GET BETTER!
ReplyDeleteTaylor, keep a positive attitude. You'll be back on the mat in no time! Don't rush it though...take it from someone who had multiple injuries during adolescence: if you don't let them fully heal, they will bother you for the rest of your life. Get yourself better, and THEN focus on training again.
ReplyDeleteyou don't do things because they are easy cgn taylor, you do them because they challenge you and develop you into a strong person. push/sit ups where something you could easily accomplish. this little ankle thing is simply life asking you if you have what it takes.. do what you always do and attack it back with an awesome attitude and develop to be even stronger because of this little ankle thing.. don't worry about training as a reflection that you're not trying. your instructors know how hard you work. -sbn
