Phase 3: Let's start this one off with a wonderful 3 day weekend with no work. No push-ups. No sit-ups. No running. No conditioning. No classes. I never realized how much I missed having a day off from everything. I promised myself I would do NOTHING this weekend I didn't feel like doing, so I can shake the tail end of this dumb cold... Two colds in three weeks is too many.
I actually slept in until 8am! I went grocery shopping in the sunshine and took Adam to Target to use his gift card on a new set of Lego's. Holly was off with her boyfriend's family at Hagg Lake, the understanding husband was off fishing with his friends. Then I came home and actually took an afternoon nap. I slept so good that when I woke up, I was sure it was a weekday morning and I was late for work. I realized it was no such thing, and I cleaned my house because I actually wanted to.
I know numbers are next weekend, and I'll start with a short run along along with push-ups & sit-ups on Monday. But this is the break I needed. Peace. Quiet. Sunshine. Friends. Family. No pressure of any sort to do anything... For two more days, I don't care how many numbers of anything are done anywhere or how many feet, yards or miles I can run. This is me. Not caring. For two more days.
I hope you enjoy the break!!! :o)
