So after fast defense on the 25th I got REALLY sick. I was down Monday night after my board meeting and did not return to work until Tuesday after the 4th. I have not been that sick in a really long time! I was feeling a bit better Saturday and every year on our anniversary we back pack - John really wanted to go so we selected a short trail. It was rough going in - I was SO winded with the weight on my pack and the uphill climb. But I made it! The site we were at we think will be the location for the BB backpacking trip in 2012. It was AWESOME. Here is a picture of where we stayed.
Tuesday we biked into the studio and repped out the test requirements for John who did his make up test after class. He did GREAT by the way and we both got our stars! Congrats to Chris on the gold star - he earned it and GREAT class tonight. Loved the energy and loved the bag work.
