Back up!

So the past 5 months of BB training seem more like a roller coaster... You go through these phases where first you wonder if you can do it all. Then you feel good about it and you can come out of class smiling. Then you go downhill at a terrifying rate and you swear you don't know how you're going to find time to do it all and you sort of burn out on it. Then you take a day or so off and you get back on an even keel and you go right back at it again, sure you can do it.

Having an AHAMA event nearly every weekend makes things really difficult sometimes, but you just do as many as you can and focus on the fact that it's all done in October. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the events, but sometimes I just feel like I'm neglecting other parts of my life on weekends, which is the only time we have off together. Anyhow, the husband goes fishing and is very understanding. My son seems to be living at the neighbors' homes while I'm doing training and errand running... I lost him last Saturday... He turned his phone off to watch a movie at the neighbor's house but didn't tell me which neighbor... I looked like the real responsible mom searching door-to-door for my child.

Anyhow, now I'm just focusing on one month at a time in order to keep my sanity. On the bright side, numbers day on Saturday went really well and I stayed the same only on the 100 meter dash... I improved on every other thing. I was soooooo happy. It helps to have a day like that... Focus on the positives... :)
