Saturday Night- Girl's Talk

Thanks to Miss Devon, the girl's talk finally happened. It was on Saturday night and things went pretty well. Many people asked if it was going to be a weekly gathering. For the most part we shared stories about all kinds of stuff and the most common topic seemed to be bullying stories. I thought it was a great idea to get girls to share how they feel although, I think that a lot of the girls (myself included) felt more comfortable sharing the small groups rather then to the whole crowd. I'm still working on 'coming out of my shell'.
Phase 3 is already here! So far I've got about 8,300 push ups and sit ups to do to make up for the ones I didn't finish last phase. June 25 is going to come so fast. I remember with the Power Within test that after school was out and summer began everything just flew by. Before we know it, it will be October and nerves (as well as confidence) will at there peak.

The Deschutes hike is a little more than a week away! I'm so excited because I get to go with my BFFs Zoe, Sarah and even Lauren. We are going up Friday and are going share a tent. My dad is going to come up Saturday with the rest of the team. He's coming home from Turkey tomorrow night and he will get home from Japan (or Korea, I can't keep track) in time to go on the campout. It should be really fun, thanks to the Leitners who organized it all. Thank goodness it isn't as long of a hike as Serene Lake was back in 2009, those 6 miles took over 3 hours UP HILL!

Anyway, that's all for now. See everyone tonight at training!
