Time is fleeting

I'm sitting at home right now at 5:17pm waiting for my uniform to dry because I didn't have time this weekend to finish my laundry. Sometimes, life get so busy. It's kind of funny that I always feel like I am running short on time, but my choices are what cause the situation. Between working too much, training, trying to maintain friendships outside of those two areas, and doing all of the weekly chores, I barely have time to just sit down and veg out.

Last week, I took Monday off from training because I really just needed an evening alone. I was going to work on OGA's annual report, but when I got home some ME time sounded like such a better idea. I love everyone at Aim High, but my mental health needed that night off. I feel a lot better tonight...could partially be due to completing the report and sending it to print. :o)

I decided to create a daily schedule...I even typed it out for every day of the week; some days have different activities. I don't expect to follow it to a T, but I figured it will help me find some semblance of sanity with all of my commitments.

The requirements are coming along slowly, but surely. I'm still a little behind, but I plan to be totally caught up by the end of June. I actually need to surpass the push-ups/sit-ups to reach the personal goal I set on my last birthday. I'm turning 30 in July, and I want to have completed 30,000 push-ups/sit-ups by that day. I'm about half-way there at the moment.

Speaking of push-ups...I should go do some before training.

  1. I'm not sure if it's funny or not, but shortly after typing this I fell asleep while waiting for my uniform to dry and slept right through training. :o( Apparently, something had to give.
