Whew!
So the past few weeks have been one of those times where you just say to yourself that you need to take one day at a time. First it was the practice training for Phase 2 testing that actually turned out to be the testing. Followed closely by the Pac Jewel Tournament.... That was really interesting... I never got into MMA to compete because I really do it because I like the people and I figure that at some point in my life, I have to feel like I don't have 2 left feet in everything that I do. Anyhow, my goal was to compete in one form, not to panic in the middle of it, and to do the form to the best of my ability. I accomplished my goal. It was funny in a way because everyone runs around with these big gold trophies to show off. I didn't even place in my category for the form I did, but the trophy I got was the one that sits smack dab in the middle of my self-confidence. It sits in my mind and tells me that I set a goal, I reached it, and that's what I can show off moving forward in the confidence I'm slowly gaining in all this craziness. :)
